Franchise Registration in Oklahoma. There is no state franchise registration required in Oklahoma.
Business Opportunity Exemption Registration in Oklahoma. There Oklahoma Business Opportunity Sales Act is broad enough to cover most franchises. Oklahoma Statutes Section 71-4-802(3).
However, there is an exemption for “any offer or sale of a franchise” if the franchisor timely delivers to the purchaser a Franchise Disclosure Document according to the FTC Franchise Rule. This exemption is automatically effective and does not require any filing. Oklahoma Statutes Section 71-4-803(6).
Franchise Disclosure in Oklahoma. Oklahoma has no state franchise disclosure laws. So, there are no special state disclosures required in an FDD used in Oklahoma.
Franchise Relationship Law in Oklahoma. Oklahoma has no state franchise relationship laws for business format franchises.
