Vinson Law Firm PC d/b/a Vinson Franchise Law Firm is a small, specialized law firm that provides prompt, high-quality legal services to clients all over the United States (and in many foreign countries) -- at reasonable rates. Our practice is focused primarily on franchise law and outside general counsel services. We provide personal attention to each of our clients -- no matter how big or how small.

Experience
At his initial law firm, Rob gained valuable training and experience in diverse areas of law, including franchise and distribution transactions, regulatory compliance, international transactions, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and maintenance, trademark registration and maintenance, intellectual property licensing, commercial transactions, and commercial litigation.
Rob's more than 30 years' experience as an attorney for entrepreneurs (and his own experience as an entrepreneur) has provided further background and experience that enables Rob to provide practical, effective and efficient solutions for his clients.

Rob began his legal career in 1987 at this downtown Dallas law firm, where he worked in several different departments, and became a partner in the Franchise and Distribution Law Section.
2001 - present
Vinson Franchise Law Firm
& Vinson Law Firm PC
In 2001, he left his former firm to start Vinson Franchise Law Firm -- first in Los Gatos (Silicon Valley), California, and then in Incline Village (Lake Tahoe), Nevada. Since 2001, the firm has served as outside general counsel for many of its clients.
Fran Man
In 2005, Rob and his brother, Kit Vinson, formed Franchise Manuals LLC (now known as FranMan, Inc.), which prepares franchise operations manuals. FranMan Inc. also offers a unique, proprietary platform for the online hosting of manuals, which provides many useful tools and metrics to allow franchisors to easily administer their manuals. Rob is an active member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Franchising. He has written articles and presented papers for the ABA Forum on Franchising, the International Franchise Association, the Direct Selling Association and the Dallas Bar Association.
